Now that that's out of the way, yeah, I guess sometimes it's good to show up on LJ and let people know you haven't dropped entirely off the face of the Earth or something like that, hehe. Things here are okay, I don't have a lot of news to relay - just working a lot, learning how to do stuff, and taking things easily. Oh yeah, and going out on the weekends with laura_guerin and drinking tequila while not knowing it was tequila! I was tricked, I tell you! Tricked! :P (But it was also goooood. And it was also good that I wasn't the one driving that night ;))

What else... like I said, I don't have a lot to relay, but everything is okay now, and again, I'll try to be more active here - I was on a low LJ mood *again* since my last posts, so I went into this little hiatus - I didn't even check my friendspage at all, just went straight to a few comms and that's it. I'm sorry if I missed anything - but now I'm back (yeah Cammy, keep telling yourself that, darling :P), and y'all will again feel the Camspam! Yeah! Or something.

So how have y'all been? News? Did someone get married in the way? No? Oh well, maybe next time, hehe.

It's so adorable! *dances* It was good 'cause the suspense was kept to the last moment 'cause you didn't have the sender's info on the envelope, but soon it became clear it was your card... (By the way, your handwriting is really cute.) It's so going to my Box of Good Things, which where I keep all the cards and letters I get! :D Isn't it weird that you got my card today and I got your card today as well? o.O Weird coincidences... anyways, now I'm waiting for your card, Dan! :)

(Damnit, I'm slapping my hands so I won't begin answering your letter on this entry... and also your letter was huge! Mine was so sucky compared to it! *blushes*)

So, besides getting Taru's card, what else happened today? Work was fine, a bit easygoing at times but there's never a dull moment in there, hehe. We had a training during the afternoon, which was okay too. Tomorrow things should get a little more complicated, since we begin loading trucks again, and we're supposed to send 4000 tons of pulp to Santos port until the 17th, which is when the ship leaves for Antwerp. In conclusion: 500 tons (if not more - this is our first forecast) are going tomorrow. So we'll have 20 trucks leaving tomorrow, and I'll do part of the invoices and the documentation that goes along with them, if not most of them or even all of them! I'm not complaining, of course, it's my job and otherwise how else will I learn to do things if I don't do them? But it's a lot of stuff to do, heh. But everything should go well *crosses fingers*

What else... oh, my mom stayed here in Bauru during the afternoon, 'cause my parents decided I should move from the apartment where I currently live to somewhere closer to downtown (which is where the action is :P) and to where the people I carpool with everyday pick me up - I usually have to walk about 15-20 minutes every morning to get there. Not that it's a big deal, at least I'm awake enough to go to work by the time I get there, but oh well, you can't dissuade them once they got something in their heads :P And guess what, she found a great place! She took me there after I arrived from work. It's about 4 blocks away from the carpooling place and close to downtown, so at least those two aspects are covered, hehe. And the apartment is really nice, it's a tad bigger than my current apartment (it has two bedrooms instead of one, but not too big for a single person to live in. The bathroom is a bit weird but I can live with that :P And the rent isn't much different from the one we pay now, so it's all good... I intend to help paying part of it now that I can. So yeah, it would seem I will be moving out soon! I'll let y'all know how it goes! :D

And I did it! I finally found a bookshop that had The Golden Compass (the book, not an actual aleithometer :P)! And I bought it! YAY! \o/ I should have gone to the mall right away, hehe. I plan to start reading it tonight :) I also bought a new pair of sandals and a purse. Well... actually my mom bought the purse and the shoes. Was she really nice today or what? Hehe. (Seriously, my mom rocks :D)

I guess that's pretty much it! Today was a really good day, all in all! Oh! I'm gonna do something I haven't done in ages...
